Blume Hacks: Valentine's Day Loveable Pink Drinks

Valentine's Day is a time to celebrate all kinds of love; self-love, friend-love, partner-love, family-love, community-love, the list goes on. We wanted to share some love through our pretty pink lattes, Blume Hack style. Whip (coconut preferred) these simple recipes up for a self-care moment on Valentine's Day or to share with a loved one. Alluring and irresistible, these hacks can be enjoyed anytime, not just on February 14th. 

DYK: Maca supports a healthy libido. Add 1tsp to both of these drinks to create an, 'In the mood,' latte. 

Bonus: Beets are high in zinc, iron, vitamin C and minerals.

Red Velvet Hot Chocolate

Valentine's day got you craving rich, delicious dark chocolate cake? This latte will hit the spot and the good news is, all the ingredients are likely in your pantry right now. Simple, rich and oh so pretty!

What you need:
1 tsp Blume Beetroot Blend
1 tsp Cacao or Cocoa powder
1.5 cups warm milk alternative
Coconut whip (optional)

What to do:

Mix 1 teaspoon of Blume Beetroot Blend with 1 teaspoon of Cacao or Cocoa Powder. Add a splash of hot water and blend to make a slurry. Add 1.5 cups of your favourite warm non-dairy milk and sprinkle with more cocoa powder or cinnamon. Feeling extra bad? Add some coconut whip and cacao shavings on top.

Rose Beet Latte

Prefer a softer touch? This Rose Beet latte is lightly floral and sweet, balancing perfectly with a warm milk alternative. 

What you need:
1 tsp Blume Beetroot Blend
1 pump Rose Syrup or Rose Water
1.5 cups milk alternative
Coconut whip (optional)
Rose petals (optional)

What to do:

Mix 1 teaspoon of Blume Beetroot Blend with 1 pump of Rose Syrup or Rose Water. Mix together with 1.5 cups of your favour hot milk alternative.  Sprinkle a few petals on top. Sure... its harder to drink but damn we love a finishing touch.
